Our school is the largest Middle School in the county with a well deserved reputation for excellent education provision. In our most recent OfSTED inspection (January 2008) the school was judged to be "good with many outstanding features." |

We now have 768 children on roll aged between 8 - 12 years working in partnership with a highly trained, committed staff team of 76. Although we are a very large school, every child is known at TAB - their strengths, their interests and their areas needing improvement.
We are fortunate in being able to offer a wide range of extra curricular activities, with over 30 clubs a week taking place before and after school, and at lunch times.
Academic achievement and excellence is a core purpose but is only one part of the school's activity. |

Our children regularly achieve outstanding success in sporting activities and are the current area champions in many disciplines, including Cross Country running; Athletics; Netball; Swimming and Football. Teachers and professional coaches also support club activities to produce high standards in more specialist aspects of work such as Gymnastics and Dance.
Many children are also involved in Music and Drama through participation in choirs, orchestra, musical groups and bands, school productions and class assemblies.
There really is something for everyone at TAB!
